A Healthy Dose of Cancer Chemo and a New Cycle

I hasten to say, dear reader, that no I am not buying a new bike and taking up cycling. Nope, yesterday was my last chemo session and next week I get assessed for the possibility of an all clear or a new cycle of treatment. I wait and see.

Because my health has been a little precarious and my weight has dropped so much, I was expecting unwelcome news. However, as my treatment has progressed, I’ve been feeling surprisingly good and this week I’ve put three kilos on. Not bad going.

So, fingers crossed for me to be on the mend… but I had better not count my chemo chickens before they hatch. You never know with cancer, it’s a tricksy little blighter.
